A rare miniature manuscript written by Charlotte Bronte has returned to the Bronte Parsonage Museum in Haworth following a purchase by the Friends of National Libraries.
The tiny book was written by the author when she was just 13. It is dated December 1829 and runs to just 15 pages, but because of its important place in literary history, sold for $1.25 million.
The miniature manuscript, entitled A Book Of Ryhmes By Charlotte Bronte, Sold By Nobody, And Printed By Herself, is a collection of 10 poems.
